Miss Elizabeth Robinson, recently arrived in British East Africa, is now attempting to establish herself as a patron of the arts, a stalwart of local society and and supporter of charities of all kinds.

She has compassion and wealth and humility on her side, but she had yet to tangle with the hidden forces of chaos set up to oppose her.

This story is an immediate sequel to Airships over Africa and features the resolute character of Miss Elizabeth Robinson establishing herself in that part of British East Africa known as Mombasa.

I have five more stories in the same series under development, in various states of completion. These are Observatory Mount, The Steam Road, Clockwork Cabaret, Camera Obscura and Imperial Lifeblood.

These stories are all set in what is probably the same universe as The Cassandra Effect.
